This project involved replacing deteriorated parts and equipment of the hydrocracker that has been mothballed since 2010 to allow renewable diesel production. This includes a pre-treatment unit to allow the plant to produce feedstocks for the retrofitted unit from soybean oil, corn oil, and other vegetable oils and animal fats. The construction of the new feedstock-pretreatment unit and conversion of the idled hydrocracker will produce up to 840,000 gallons per day of renewable diesel.
