LNG Treating and
Liquefaction Plant
Corpus Christi, Texas
Critical Infrastructure for LNG to Power Countries Around the World
In support of new clean energy, this project involved a liquefied natural gas (LNG) treatment and liquefaction plant to be installed on fixed offshore platforms. The platforms provide critical infrastructure for the delivery, storage, and regasification of LNG to power countries worldwide. The project comprises 11 LNG infrastructure vessels, including floating storage and regasification assets.
EPIC executed the pipe fabrication for two of the 11 vessels. EPIC will produce 15,000 prefabricated pipe spools for each project, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-alloy materials. Each project will be executed over nine months, leveraging EPIC’s industry-leading pipe fabrication system and powered by the advanced MATVIS Project Information Management system.
