Renewable Diesel

Production Facility

Geismar, Louisiana

The First Renewable Diesel Production Facility in the U.S.

As the first renewable diesel production facility in the U.S., this facility will annually reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions by up to 2.8 million metric tons—equivalent to the greenhouse gas emissions from 7.1 billion miles driven by an average passenger vehicle. This project requires EPIC to produce more than 10,500 prefabricated pipe spools, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and high alloy materials. All spools will be delivered over 10 months. EPIC won this contract through precision pricing enabled by its MATVIS project information system, as well as by demonstrated superior pipe spooling and a commitment to on-time delivery.
